Hello everyone! This is a blog dedicated to present my personal thoughts and projects around the field of information technology, computer science, networks and software both from a functional/operational scope as well as from other kinds of scopes or approaches such as media, commerce and social impact.

The blog’s articles are currently divided under three sections, in the first, you may find stochastic articles, thoughts and arguments about: legal, ethical and political matters around technology, copyright usage, public knowledge usage, scientific resource usage, commerce, communication and interaction throughout technology which I have come across so far. In the second section, you may find articles introducing some personal implemented projects or project ideas which in many cases might be replicable or in other cases might be a good starting point for something new. And finally, in the third section, you may find material made from others which I consider as educative and useful to share.

About me

My name is Kostis, I am a passionate software engineer, currently working as a Java developer and, among others, an MSc graduate in Software Engineering from the University of Glasgow! I feel myself as a very creative person who sometimes cannot hold himself from doing something trivial, complex or creative, some of my hobbies include puzzle solving, video games, archery and technology!

I made this blog in the hope to inspire and encourage other people to be creative and become actively engaged with technology by  expressing my views and present my work in various technological subjects.

The audience

This page is meant to be both informative as well as entertaining and it is intended both for people without deep technical knowledge as well as for scientists, engineers or other kinds of professionals. When an article is too deep it may follow a structure moving from introducing a basic concept or an idea into analysing it in order to let everyone be able to easily grasp its main purpose and goal. Last but not least, the general idea that is going to be followed is to place a reader in a position to think out of the box and make his own assumptions over the presented material.

In more detail, the material’s usage, modification or appliance may not be limited by whether it is being used in a corporate environment or not and you may use it under any circumstance. My only request is to give me (the author/assembler/developer/etc.), or authors, if there are more people involved, the appropriate attribution.
